What is Layyr?
Layyr is an AI security gateway that sits between your applications and AI providers. It automatically detects and redacts sensitive data (PII) before it reaches AI models, maintains compliance through audit trails, and provides governance controls—all without requiring code changes.
How does Layyr work?
Layyr acts as a proxy between your application and AI providers. Simply point your AI API requests to Layyr's gateway instead of directly to the provider. Layyr will automatically scan for sensitive data, redact it according to your policies, log the interaction, and forward the request to the AI provider.
Do I need to change my code?
No code changes are required. You only need to update your API endpoint URL from the AI provider's URL to Layyr's gateway URL. Everything else remains the same.
What types of sensitive data does Layyr detect?
Layyr can detect and redact over 20 types of PII including email addresses, phone numbers, SSNs, credit card numbers, person names, locations, and more. You can configure which types to detect and how to handle them.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Layyr uses enterprise-grade encryption for data in transit and at rest. All audit logs are encrypted, and sensitive data is redacted before being sent to AI providers. Layyr never stores your actual sensitive data—only redacted versions for compliance purposes.
